The Project Awards search out and reward the most outstanding examples of AV integration skill.

Project work can be entered into a range of vertical categories listed below. Projects must have been completed between October 1,2021 and October 1, 2022.

A project is never about a single technology so manufacturers of technologies cannot win most Project Awards in the Inavation Awards. However we encourage manufacturers to work with integration partners on entries that demonstrate an holistic overview of the entire project and the integration and project management skill required to deliver it. If manufacturers wish to be considered for a Project Award they can enter the Applied Technology Award.

Entry is free of charge with the exception of the Applied Technology Award.

Before you enter please download and read the entry requirements.

Entry deadline: October 31st Extended to November 14, 2022

Smart Buildings Award sponsored by KNX

In addition to the vertical market category you enter, this year you also have the chance to be considered for the 2023 Smart Buildings Award. To be eligible you must answer two additional questions on the entry form and, within the entry you will upload, include a clearly headed section that outlines why the project is a worthy winner.

Judges will be looking for how AV systems installed integrate with wider building systems, as well as evidence of the nominated party taking on roles beyond the core AV installation to deliver and/or interface with advanced, automated and intelligent building technology systems.

Applied Technology category - £300 entry fee

This is the only Project Award that can be entered by manufacturers. It was created to acknowledge projects that are dominated by technology from a single manufacturer such as some projection mapping shows, PA/VA installations or large-scale LED deployments –to name a few.
Judges will be looking to see that the technology the entry is focused on formed a major or outstanding portion of the project and that the manufacturer offered support, guidance or hands-on installation expertise in bringing the project to life. If manufacturers don't feel they meet those criteria, as usual, we'd encourage them to support the integration partner or consultant on the project with an entry into any of the vertical market categories.
This needs to provide a more holistic view of the project from project win, design, system integration of a range of technologies and end-client service and support.
We also welcome multiple entries where the consultant and/or integrator's work is entered into one of the vertical market categories, while the technology and effort of a single manufacturer is highlighted in the Applied Technology category.
